This is the fourth book in the Magical Menagerie mystery series by Sarah Fox whose Pancake House series is one of her other cozy mystery series. I’ve loved this series from its beginning and it’s gotten only better with each addition. I highly recommend reading the series in order for the best and most fun experience.

Something about the ending almost made it sound like the final book, but I sure hope that’s not the case. If it really is, it was wrapped up just perfectly, although I think Georgie and Callum along with two amazing spaniels still have lotsa mysteries to solve.

This was a stumper of a mystery and seemed multi-layered in some ways. There were definitely plenty of suspects to pick from but only one had killed someone, and as always, the spaniels along with awesome Euclid got to help with the takedown. I absolutely loved the ending and really, really hope there’s more books being planned!

Tails from the Crypt review

This is the third book in the absolutely fun and adorable Magical Menagerie series by Sarah Fox, another fave cozy author. I loved this series from the very first book and always am eager to read the next when it comes out. Twilight Cove celebrating Halloween was awesome!

I’ve enjoyed Georgie’s character and those of her friends and family since the very first book. I just love those sweet spaniels, Flossie and Fancy as well as the cool abilities they’ve got and can do. Fancy’s so cute when she howls “a-roo” and Flossie cracks me up when she opens locks with just her paw. That’d be some crazy prints the police might find, lol!

The mystery was fun since it was set around Halloween, and I was never really sure whodunit until the actual reveal which was a good surprise. And of course the sweet doggos had a part in making that showdown happen and causing the perp to have to stick around. Can’t wait to read the next book!

Dead Men Wag No Tails review

This is the second book in the Magical Menagerie series by well-known cozy mystery author, Sarah Fox. I loved this series when it started last year and I was super happy to read this second book which definitely didn’t disappoint. I like how Georgie and Callum are growing closer and how the dogs and Euclid the resident owl always seem to help when Georgie’s investigating. I can’t wait for the next book!

When I read the first book last year, it took me no time at all to fall in love with these characters and the setting, so it was like meeting up with old friends again when I read this book. I love that Georgie’s smart and self-assured (in most things) but she’s not afraid to ask anyone when she needs with something. Those sweet dogs are amazing like their owl friend Euclid. And a visiting parrot seemed to hold the key to something important with the murder case.

I was glad to see Georgie and Callum growing closer and that she was feeling more confident that he was actually happy with her. The ending was really sweet and since they talked about a Halloween themed event coming up, I hope that’s the theme of the next book! It should be tons of fun!
